Today we are joined by Jon Wynn, a Hyrox Elite Athlete. For many years Jon battled with a serious alcohol & drugs addiction which lent him to spend 7 years in & out of rehab battling the issue. However, now he is nearly 2 years sober & is helping others battle addiction through the form of fitness.
Today we dive into Jon's fitness & special forces background, his battle with addiction, how he keeps himself clean today, as well as all things Hyrox, his training & looking ahead to the North American Championships in Chicago.

Alcohol & drugs are seen as societal norms in this day and age. People even react with concern if you choose not to drink at a social occasion… this is something that still astonishes me and I believe there is an underlying issue in todays society with people living for the weekend and just getting through the working week to then escape their issues through drugs and alcohol on a weekend.
In todays podcast I sit down with personal trainer & ex pro footballer Alex Kitchen to discuss his issues with alcohol & drug addiction. In today's episode we headed over to Ultra Flex Durham to hit up a Pull Workout with Online Coach Zack Jones. A few months back Zack was involved in an incident where a well known bodybuilder called him out on social media for using a tripod in the gym to film content for himself & his business, so I was keen to talk to Zack about that incident & the backlash of it all.
Zack also suffers with Perthes Disease which is a rare conditioning that effects the hip joint. We discussed in the podcast section of the video how this disease has effected his life, his confidence & also his training but also how it has sparked his passion for coaching & helping others out.
